The very soft TPU is washable

Our thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) powder shines with very spherical particle shapes, which offer high flowability and extremely low smoke development during processing.

The resulting SLS components offer a high degree of flexibility with an elongation at break comparable to injection-molded components.

The rubber-like TPU components are very soft and offer a pleasant feel (Shore hardness A ~ 50) and are therefore ideal for the production of shoe soles, orthopaedic components and bellows, for example.

While many competitor materials made of TPU suffer from the problem of hydrolysis, our TPU is very resistant and can be washed at 60°C without any problems.

This SLS powder material is ideal for use in selective laser sintering systems (SLS) with low laser power, such as SinterIt Lisa and SinterIt Lisa Pro, Sintratec S1, Sintratec S2 and Sintratec KIT as well as Formlabs Fuse 1, for example. It should be noted that adjusted parameters must be set. This is possible with SinterIt devices via Advanced Studio, for example. We will be happy to assist you in selecting the parameters.
